SOCIAL MEDIA is a powerful tool, but is not enough

I am not really a writer but I feel inspired today to do so. I am inspired by a couple of new Dream Agents ready to commit to make some impact, which makes me want to work harder in the development of DREAMERS for POSITIVE CHANGE.

I also been thinking lately on something a new good friend of mine told me. Many of us spend so much time these days in facebook and twitter (including myself), that makes some believe they can change the world through it. I think the virtual world is a very powerful tool for our efforts, but it is vital that we direct its power always asking for an action, and to get people further involved in causes; more than just joining a facebook group, or signing a petition online.

Taking that in consideration I will be spending a lot of time thinking on what else we can do, as Dreamers, to help ourselves, help others, and make ….see a difference, see progress, and see our dreams become a reality.

I also been reflecting on how much more joy I get when I am meeting with a group, presenting in front of a lot of people, doing something different than just sitting in front of my computer trying to get my voice to be heard in the virtual world.

These are just some thoughts that came to my mind, thoughts that been poking me because I am eager to see our efforts move faster. I would like to finish this post by thanking the DREAM Walkers for the amazing journey they are in right now, I am immensely thankful like many other dreamers across the nation of their historic Trail of Dreams.
