Congressional Liaison Report | 02/18/2010

Hey guys!

I know I've been M.I.A for the past month, but to be completely honest this applies to Congress in general. I'm sure you've heard we had some massive snowfall in D.C (better known as Snowcalypse) and let me just tell you the town shut down!
Now we are back, but not in session until next week, so not much to share. However, since my Congressman is a Co-sponsor of the DREAM Act we got an invitation for the screening of a film called Papers. I hadn't heard from it till now, but it sounds pretty interesting and I'm going to try my best to attend the premiere so i can tell you all about it.
You should definitely check out the website, it looks like they have tons of information and some good links. My apologies if it has been referenced before on this blog, but I was excited to see an invitation come in the mail, because that reminds me that the DREAM Act is still alive and that we have not given up the fight.

I can't stress this enough, contact your Representative tell them what's important to you. They are your voice!!
