After a devastating earthquake in Haiti the Department of Homeland security is giving the Haitian undocumented immigrants in the United States a temporal protection immigration status (TPS). This is great news for many and it will help them send money to Haiti to help their families and siblings in need. Unfortunately there are people out there already smelling a way to make money out of this one. Scam artists are moving all around the country planning their next move. There are already rumors of con-artists presenting fraudulent offers pretending that are legitimate to fill out forms for Haitians that want to take advantage of the TPS. They will take advantage of them in the process by charging from $1,000 up to $2,000 for their services.
